Web Wise Kids Receives IJIS Institute 2012 Distinguished Service Award
It was a tremendous honor to receive the IJIS Institute 2012 Distinguished Service Award last week in Washington DC. The award was presented at a lovely gala where both government agencies and companies who work in the technology industry were gathered. The National Anthem was sung by Sara Dell’Omo, Messa a wonderful Soprano and the opening speaker was Ms Francey Hakes the , Office of the Deputy Attorney General, Department of Justice. IJIS Institute is a nonprofit organization that unites the private and public sectors to improve critical information sharing for those who provide public safety and administer justice in our communities. It was an exciting and unforgettable evening. We are very grateful for this recognition of the work of WWK.
