New BeSeen Downloadable Teacher Materials

The new BeSeen game is continuing to reach a very important audience: the educators and youth leaders of the world! Just recently, we made a new set of lesson materials available as a free download for anyone wanting to teach online safety to kids.

We have assembled a variety of materials to help anyone deliver an engaging and interactive series of lessons on social media by playing the BeSeen game. We have a detailed lesson guide, a parent letter template, a student flyer to send home, handouts and a variety of other support materials. Anyone interested can simply fill out this online form with their contact information and then download all of the materials immediately.

We now have 33 new teachers ready to share BeSeen with their classrooms. These new teachers are located in 16 states in the U.S. plus 5 countries: England, Chile and Peru!  

Now it is easier than ever to share internet safety tips with our kids!

Welcome To Our New Web Wise Kids Speaker and Trainer

We are so pleased to welcome Rommel Anacan to our team. His dynamic speaking style and ability to reach audiences of any age will help us impact more kids than ever. This is great news for Web Wise Kids and for kids online safety.

One of the programs Rommel will feature in his events will be the new BeSeen game. He can teach safe habits for social media on sites like Facebook directly or train teachers or youth directors who need help presenting the content.

Rommel's presentation content is packed with important information and tips to help parents, educators and kids safely navigate the online sites frequented by teens.

Rommel brings an extensive and successful career in sales, management and training - over 20 years of experience! As a trainer he developed a reputation for creating "game-changing" programs through the use of relevant metaphors, personal life experiences and a funny and entertaining "stand-up training" presentation method.

Web Wise Kids Talks Bullying at Northeastern Law School Symposium

At Web Wise Kids, we believe that bullying should not be classified as a criminal offense. Surprising since we've spent the last 20 years fighting bullying, right?

Web Wise Kids was selected to speak on a panel of experts held on Friday, March 30 at Northeastern University Law School. The symposium, called "Pushed Too Far: The Evolving Legal Implications Of School Bullying", featured a significant number of experts in the legal profession.

The panel was titled: "Should School Bullies Face Criminal Punishment?" and was part of a full day schedule on the legal implications of school bullying. This was a great opportunity for us to share our view of this issue with such a prestigious group of legal experts!

The Web Wise Kids mission is to teach kids, parents and the community the value of making safe and wise choices in a technologically evolving world and we enjoyed contributing our voice on this topic with the legal community.
