Project Safe ChildhoodWelcome! In today’s digital age, it is more important than ever to have the support of the educational community in helping keep children safe on the Internet. We value your support and dedication as we bring Project Safe Childhood to your state. While it may seem daunting, we commend you for taking on this additional responsibility and dedicating time and resources to improving the safety of children in our digital environment. Today’s digital culture exposes children to more risks than ever before. We must protect our children from sexual predators, cyber-bullying, piracy and unsafe personal disclosure. It is essential than our children are provided with the wisdom to become responsible digital citizens before it is too late for us to protect them. Web Wise Kids is dedicated to teaching kids about online risks and dangers by using computer games and other media where they’re comfortable and familiar. Using game media, kids are open to learning and able to see first hand the risks they should to be aware of as they navigate in the digital universe. We know that success for Project Safe Childhood would be impossible without you. Your assistance helps us achieve our goal of protecting thousands of kids who would otherwise remain unaware and vulnerable to the risks and dangers of the Internet. The following links and materials will help you with the implementation and completion of the project – please feel free to call us any time for assistance! We want to THANK YOU for your time and your personal commitment to helping kids become their own first line of defense. |
