About us

Web Wise Kids is a unique organization that offers fun, challenging and interactive simulations based on real-life criminal cases—MISSING, Mirror Image and Airdogs. Each program has been designed specifically for use with young people in classrooms and computer labs and is guaranteed to be easy to use and flexible with your classroom schedule (special versions of our programs are also available for home use). Best of all, our programs succeed at getting the message across without “another lecture.”

Katie, a San Francisco teen, credits our program for helping her realize that her Internet boyfriend was a child predator before she became his next victim. Read Katie's Story.

In addition, we have a special learning program sponsored in part by the Office of Justice (United States Department of Justice) and designed just for Parents called Wired With Wisdom®. This easy-to-navigate program will benefit any adult who is looking to enhance their knowledge of online safety issues.Wired With Wisdom® is colorful, interesting and informative. It features stories, video clips and fun activities to teach and reinforce safety concepts. Most importantly, it introduces real issues to you in a practical and convenient way and offers proven solutions.

By addressing issues like piracy, fraud, online romances, bullying, social networking, blogging, cyber stalking, online predators, identity theft and more—our programs prepare young people to be their own first line of defense so they can safely explore the best that the Internet has to offer.

Thanks to the help of a vast team of community partners (including teachers, law enforcement officers and community youth leaders) millions of children have benefited from our programs.

Web Wise Kids is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Southern California. Since 2000, Web Wise Kids has been committed to preventing online child victimization by providing innovative and effective tools to assist youth to stay safe online.
